Position Type: Full-Time Seasonal (Starting Mid-May)

 

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Overview:

As a Front Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, embodying the warmth and hospitality that Swan Bay Resort & Marina is renowned for. Your role is pivotal in ensuring guests have a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure. This position requires flexibility, including working holidays and weekends, with shifts ranging between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception & Services:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor, exemplifying our commitment to Excellence Wins.

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Providedetailed information about resort amenities, events, and local attractions.

• Addressand resolve guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly, reflecting ourdedication to exceptional service.

• ReservationManagement:

• Handlephone calls and emails related to reservations, cancellations, andmodifications.

• Utilizereservation software to manage bookings and maintain accurate records.

• BoutiqueOversight:

• Assistin the daily operations of our on-site boutique, including inventory managementand sales transactions.

• Ensuremerchandise displays are appealing and stocked appropriately.

• AdministrativeDuties:

• Maintaina tidy and organized front desk and lobby area.

• Performclerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

• Coordinatemail distribution and manage incoming deliveries.

 

Qualifications:

• Education& Experience:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Priorexperience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles isadvantageous but not mandatory.

• Skills& Attributes:

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with reservation systems.

• Exceptionalverbal and written communication skills.

• Strongorganizational abilities with attention to detail.

• Abilityto multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

• Professionalappearance and adherence to dress code standards.

• Resourcefuland proactive problem-solving skills.

• Abilityto commute to Alexandria Bay, NY 13607.
