Job Summary:
We're looking for a hardworking, ambitious marine mechanic who wants to become one of the best in the industry. Mechanical ability is important, but attitude matters more.   • Mechanical Aptitude
    • Strong understanding of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting.
    • Can diagnose problems logically instead of just replacing parts.

    • Willing to work through challenging repairs without cutting corners.
  • Eagerness to Learn
    • Actively asks questions, seeks feedback, and wants to learn new technologies (EFI systems, outboards, diagnostics, etc.).
    • Interested in manufacturer certifications and continued training.
  • Attention to Detail
    • Keeps work organized, follows service procedures, and double-checks repairs.
    • Understands that small mistakes on a boat can become expensive or dangerous.
  • Professionalism & Customer Focus
    • Communicates clearly with coworkers and customers.
    • Treats customers' boats with respect and can explain repairs in simple terms when needed.
  • Bonus traits:

    • Experience with marine electrical systems (12V/24V wiring).
    • Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
    • Owns a basic set of quality tools.
    • Clean driving record and can trailer boats if needed.
    • Positive attitude and enjoys solving problems.

    • Marine/Boating experience is preferred.
    • Valid driver's license required.

    • A drive to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to quickly switch between tasks are required.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

    Education: High School, GED, or equivalent is preferred.

    Position:

    • Year-Round/Full-Time / Pay based upon experience $20-$28/hr to start
    • Benefits Include: Employee Discount on Merchandise, Health Insurance after 60 days, 401k after 6 months, Paid Vacation Days, and Some Paid Holidays

    Schedule:

    • Full-Time, up to 40hrs/wk
    • Summer Season Schedule Mon-Sun (flexible)
    • Winter Off-Season Schedule: Mon-Fri (structured)
    • Day & Afternoon Shifts
    • Holidays & Weekends (when applicable, with holiday pay)
